The new standard for cold flow protection up to B50!
OPT M5™ is the first of its kind cold flow improver uniquely designed to lower the pourpoint (PP) and Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) of ULSHO and ULSD blended with biofuels such as biodiesel and renewable diesel. OPT M5 provides excellent winter performance with a wide range of distillate and biofuels at blends up to B50, including hard to treat high wax fuels.
Application
OPT M5™ contains a combination of advanced cold flow polymers, wax anti-settling agents and cold flow synergists designed to complement each other to improve low temperature operability. When used at recommended dosing levels, OPT M5™ will help reduce a biofuel blends pourpoint down to less than -40°F and cold filter plugging point 8 -15° degrees (F) below the blended fuel cloud point. OPT M5™ CFI will also help reduce kerosene blending.
Additionally
To ensure maximum performance of OPT M5™ the fuel temperature should be at least 10F above cloud point of fuel at time of treatment.
For personal safety, first aid, storage and handling, see the safety data sheet (SDS) for product specific information.
